Youth Center
Free mentorship, skills and support at Omuto Youth Center
Visit Omuto Youth Center in Nabbuzi for free mentorship, counselling, career guidance and help with your next step. We open Wednesday, Friday and Saturday, 8am–5pm.
You don’t need to have everything figured out
You might be looking for work, choosing what to study or hoping to learn a practical skill. You might need someone to talk to.
At Omuto Youth Center, you can start with a conversation.
Our centre in Nabbuzi brings together youth support, learning and practical activities. We believe in YOUth—and that means making room for your questions, ideas and ambitions.
Come in for mentorship and guidance
Youth mentorship at the centre is free. A youth counsellor is available during opening hours, and you can ask for support with:
- Career choices and study decisions
- Looking for jobs and preparing your next steps
- Personal challenges you want to discuss
- Finding a learning opportunity that suits your interests
You do not need a finished plan before visiting. Tell us what you are working towards or where you feel stuck, and we can discuss what comes next.
Learn something you can use
The centre runs skilling programmes, holiday skilling activities, computer studies and weekend courses.
Course availability changes, so contact us before travelling for a particular programme. Ask about the next intake, what you will learn, the schedule and any fees.
Young people can also enquire about the youth village savings and loan association, or VSLA, group.
See where Omuto Essentials are made
The centre is also a place of production. Omuto Essentials products made here include:
- Omuto Skin Protection Jelly
- Dignity reusable sanitary pads
- Essential herbal and bathing soaps
- One in a Melon shower gel
If you are interested in the products, the work behind them or a possible partnership, get in touch with the team.
